  • Produced 700 graded books for neo-literates which include 20 books for Urdu speaking neo-literates.

  • SRC has bagged best research award for its study on “Ability base of neo-literates” during the year 1993

  • SRC has bagged NLM-UNESCO Award 2010 for outstanding contribution in the field of Adult Education.

  • SRC has bagged Saakshar Bharat Award -2012

  • Conducted 30 research studies related to Basic Literacy, Post Literacy, Continuing Education and Impact of Literacy programmes.

  • Conducted a Pilot Study of HP Literacy Testing Solutions.

  • Undertaken UNFPA Project on “Adolescence Life Skill Development”.

  • The popular story SEETHAMMA KATHA, a lesson in the SRC Primer has ignited spark in the Dubagunta village of Nellore district leading, to Antiarrack Movement.

  • SRC has the distinction of bringing out a variety Neo-literate material using Cinema Titles.

  • SRC has the distinction of bringing out Computer Based Literacy Testing Tools and computer based literacy primer.

  • SRC has brought out VintooNerchukondi (Interactive Audio Lessons on Basic Literacy) and ChilakaNerpinaPatham - a Tele film on Literacy and Continuing Education.

  • SRC has the distinction of bringing out 23 Video films on Motivation and various themes of Continuing Education Programme.

  • SRC has the distinction of Extending Support to various other Departments / agencies like Election Commission, Integrated Land Information System (ILIS) of Survey Department etc.

  • SRC has developed literature related to the themes of Inter Personal Media Campaign (IPMC) viz., financial literacy, legal literacy, electoral literacy and disaster management.

  • SRC has the distinction of receiving grants from ACCU, Japan for the adaptation of two books “Medicinal Plants” and “Savings”.

  • SRC has trained 1,72,505field functionaries and others since 1988 on Total Literacy Campaigns, Saakshar Bharat, IPMC, etc.
